Merge Rows

Hi all,

I want to create a report in Nprinting in the format below. I tried to use excel, but I can't get it in the format that I want. Such as merging the cells. (refer to column A in the sample below) Any idea what I can do so that I can achieve this format. (The value of Actual/Budget is a mixture of percentage and integer)

Hi,

I think you are experiencing this documented know limitation:

Keep Source Format option does not keep Excel merged cells
Excel merged cells are not supported for Qlik NPrinting tags regardless of Keep Source Format option.

Hi Ruggero,

Any workaround or tricks? Tried to use levels, but can't format it like what I want.

With Levels you could create something similar to:

Then you can use Excel conditional formatting rules, for example for the Country column, and create a rule that formats the duplicated cells from the second as white text on white background:

In the resulted report only the first value appears:

Yes, cells must be merged or look merged when printed with borders.

Thanks for the tips! Manage to format it using the conditional formatting in Excel. 😄
