topic Importing NPrinting template to new report but using a different connection in Qlik NPrinting

Hello,

I currently have an existing PPT report using Connection "XYZ", but I would like to create a new report using the same template created from the existing report.

I tried to export this as a zip, then proceed to import the report. This seems to work ONLY if they share the same connection, but in my case I want to use a different connection (the same objects exist in both apps).

Another workaround I tried was to go to the C:\ProgramData folder and locate the PPT template used, and then create a brand new report and using this template file. But I lose all the information I had in the existing report, via the variables, Formulas, and tables used.

Any ideas how I can go about this? Or do I have to use the same connection.

I am using Qlik NPrinting April 2019 with QlikView 12.20.

I am not sure what you are doing wrong.

I very often create another connection to exactly the same document and then export-> import reports. During import there is a step where you need to define new connection..

will try to put up video to show you this.

cheers
