Group Email

I need to send a report to a team email where every member sees the same email. But, from the way my group is set up the report will be sent to the users individually. Is there a way to make sure everyone sees the report under the same email address ? That is, the group email address? How do I add the group email address? Thanks

hi,

i am not sure if I understand your question...

To me it is quite straight forward. If you are sending your report to a "distribution group email" you need to create a NPrinting user who will be representing this email address and use it as recipient

I'm not sure I correctly understood what you mean. In case please add some details.

Based on what I understood my answer is No, because Qlik NPrinting will always send a different email to each different user because each user could have different filters. So a publish task will always generate a set of reports for each recipient also if recipients have not user filters.

I was under impression that @Pomna was talking about distribution group email which is configured in company... For example email group called Sales@abc.com.au which relays emails to all sales people. So my suggestion was that she needed to create a user who will be called SALES_ABC and would have sales@abc.com.au email and would need to apply filter to it. Since it is the same email for all people there are no individual filters required.

Anyway - @Pomna needs to describe the requirement in details otherwise is too cinfusing!

A group/team already exists that as imported to NPrinting through LDAP. All three members of the group/team are to receive the same report with no filters. If I send the report to that group will every member receive the report under the same group/team email or do I need to create a new user with the group/team email? I do not want the users to receive he report in their individual emails but through the group/team email address. Thanks.

I already have a group created for the team but the requirement is that they receive the report through the team email not their personal work emails. How do I go about creating a group where every team member will receive the report through the team email?
