Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know when Qlik will release a new version of NPrinting after May 2021 version?

NPrinting product management has not yet released next years NPrinting product release roadmap.

However for the duration of 2021, we are in Service Release mode.

Please continue to review each product release notes for each to service release to validate compatible supported versions of Qlik Sense and QlikView.

Qlik NPrinting May 2021 SR1 is already available. I don't know, at the moment, when another version will be released.

Is the NP release not tied up to the same QS release ? and QS is releasing every 3 months, is there any specific periodical release for NPrinting in general or not?

It used to be tied up to the same QS release which was very convinient (5 releases per year cadence).

Only since last release (QS August 2021) there was no NPrinting release and they went out of sync causing all those issues with documentation regarding supported configurations.

In my opinion even if there is no new version of NPrinting going with Qlik Sense Qlik should at least ensure that there is either patch or version release which would be certified to go along the latest version of Qlik Sense. It does not have to have new features - it should be able to support latest QS version.

Going out of sync is already causing issues with clients who assume that the latest versions of NP and QS should work with each other and so they proceed with upgrades without checking.
