"...Over the next year, Qlik will focus on adding remaining gap features from NPrinting 16 to NPrinting 18+ such as On-Demand for Qlik Sense®, advanced search filters, task notifications, variable filters, select excluded filters as well as variables in the email subject line and body. Additionally, Qlik is working to provide a migration tool to help customers migrate their reports, connections, filters and tasks from NPrinting 16."

For point 2, currently, you can create one or more small HTML reports containing the variable(s) and insert those reports into the body of the email message.

Clearly, there is a lack and there is no real support for the variables. Beyond statements of intent exists a schedule because we really need to send emails every week whose subject contains business information that we can put in QLK variables. I understand that we can replace the body of the mail with an HTML report containing these variables but this solution is heavy compared to a native support.
