Hi,

When posting a new question on the community, please, invest the time to supply to the readers in the community all the useful information from the first message, including the correct version of the software you are using, the steps to reproduce, screenshots, logs, etc. This will speed up the solution avoiding that the first answer will be the request of the needed details.

This is an issue related to the SMTP server configuration. Qlik NPrinting intercepts the STMP errors and save them on the logs and in the Task Executions page (the one in your screenshot). As first step check the link listed in the error message. Then I suggest you to work together with the SMTP server administrator to be sure it is correctly configured in Qlik NPrinting and that the SMTP server is configured to support the authentication methods supported by Qlik NPrinting. Before emailing reports via publish tasks you must be able to correctly receive the test email that can be sent from the SMTP settings page.

Best Regards,

Hi,

1 - upgrade to supported version your NPrinting server - 17.1 old is old and no longer supported

2. - talk to your mail server admin as the error you see is related to configuration of your smtp settings in nprinting admin console and possibly also configuration of smtp settings itself: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2021/Content/NPrinting/AdministeringQVNprinting/Set-up-email.htm

Have you done steps from the above link? if you did - are you able to send test message?

cheers

Hi Lech,

Thanks for reverting,

I have installed Qlik NPrinting May 2021 SR4 Version: 21.14.8.0 and configured as per the link provided. But the error is thrown.

Our environment is

1. Installed Windows Server 2016 Standard Evaluation Version and Office 365 on VmWare.

2. Qlik NPrinting May 2021 SR4 Version: 21.14.8.0

3. Our Domain is with GoDaddy

4. Mail Configuration is at Office 365

VM is at UK and we connect using VPN and Meraki firewall.

I have attached two screenshots on error and errorlog, where errorlog says "ERROR: AuthenticationInvalidCredentials: Authentication Unsuccessful, SmtpClientAuthentication is disabled for the Tenant"

As per the link provided in the log file I have now enabled the "Authenticated SMTP" in Office 365 Admin Center but the same error continues.

What other checks or configurations are missing.

Regards,
