Object does not exist in Nprinting Designer

Hi all,

I have published an app in Qlik Sense and connected with NPrinting.

The connection works well.

But there are some objects do not exist in Designer.

When i try to add object, it only shows some of the object.

What type of "out of the box" visualisations are missing? Charts? Tables?

NPrinting supports only BASE SHEETS so maybe you have created your own Sheet (MY SHEETS) as a user and then you have Published it to Community Sheets. Those will not be visible!!!

Can you go to hub and tell whether you are expecting to see objects from BASE SHEETS (like the one from section which i left uncrossed)?

And also, check:

whether it has section access.

Hi,

Whe you do a right click over a Qlik NPrinting Designer node (like Pages or Levels) you will see the list of all the objects that are supported for the selected node.

If you don't see an object it means that its type is not supported for the selected node so you cannot add that object.

First publish all sheets and then check objects in n printing designer.

i have a question concerning this topic, maybe you can help me.

I am also struggeling with "missing" objects in NPrinting Designer. You wrote that "If you don't see an object it means that its type is not supported for the selected node so you cannot add that object."

I got several table Boxes in my Dashboard, and I do find most but not all of them in the NPrinting Designer. 2 Table Boxes are missing, and i dont know why. These are regular table boxes.

Can you tell me how I can check if a object should be available in NPrinting Designer? Are there special settings which I have to consider?

Hi,

I already found the solution.

If you change the names of the columns in your table box and (unintentionally) you are using the same name for 2 columns, NPrinting-Designer cannot find the table box. I knew that I can't load a table in script when 2 columns have the same name, but I did not know that this applies as well for the Renaming-funktion of table boxes, and unfortunately this time QV isn#t warning that there could be an issue...
