&lt;P&gt;No it is not possible and you should avoid doing so if you are considering it.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The correct path is to start a support case and detail the security concerns therein.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;R&amp;amp;D will need to assess and update the installer accordingly.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Upgrade PostgreSQL version independently from NPrinting</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear Qlik community,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;due to a vulnerability finding we need to upgrade the PostgreSQL version from 13.8 to 13.11 on our NPrinting servers.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;We have upgraded NPrinting to the latest release (May2023). Unfortunately this release is bundled still with PSQL 13.8.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Hence my question, can I upgrade PSQL manually without breaking NPrinting?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If yes, is there any special steps I need to take care of or would it be a simple PSQL upgrade?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
