you can use API calls to trigger Nprinting after reloading your application.

and you don't need to be stick to predefined nprinting trigger.

Hi,

Are you really using QlikView NPrinting 16? If yes it is no more supported since March 2020 so plan a migration as soon as possible. Refer to https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2023/Content/NPrinting/Migrate/Migrating.htmand read carefully that guide before starting the upgrade process.

Qlik NPrinting 16.* had some features to trigger task executions. I think you can still find some information searching in the community.

If you are not using 16.0 please invest the time to add the correct label when posting here. The answer often depends on it. Adding all the details that allow us to understand your issue from the beginning will fast up the answering process avoiding us to write messages to ask them.

NPrinting 16.0 is not supported
Invest time to ask right question if you really want to get answer

it's May 2021 SR1 version and 21.14.4.0 technical version.

I need a setup that will send an e-mail when the data in the table changes.

Hi,

Qlik NPrinting May 2021 SR1 is also no more supported and it is completely a different product than QlikView NPrinting 16. Plan an upgrade to a supported version as soon as possible.

There is not a specific feature to do this in Qlik NPrinting. The possible solutions are:

use conditions https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2023/Content/NPrinting/ReportsDevelopment/Conditions.htm combined with a publish task scheduled often. Only when the condition is met the task will be executed. It is different than a trigger based on an event but it can be implemented without the need of a developer.
use APIs to start a task execution https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2023/APIs/NP+API/index.html?page=57. You need a developer that create a program to intercept the changes and run the task.
