In Qlikview I use a dimension that is visible when a condition is met.

The condition looks like this osuser() = myusername or osuser() = nameserviceaccount_Nprinting In qlikview is works fine.

In Nprinting the dimension is not visible as a column in the chart. When I add in Nprinting a formula with the expression = osuser() it returns a wrapped/truncated username.

Is it possible to use conditional dimensions in Nrpinting and if so, should I use the wrapped/truncated username or the full username. (I tried both for the Nprinting service_account)

We are using Qlikview may 2021 SR1 and Nprinting may 2021 SR1

Hi @curiousfellow

no - conditional hide/show for dimensions is not supported. It is obvious - NPrinting is based on the template and template expects a column to always be there!

calculated dimensions are supported in some scenarios (for example in objects used as images or tables) but not as levels, pages or cycles

cheers
