NPrinting Pixel Perfect Chart - Point Series

Is anyone aware of any limitations that apply to Point Series in NPrinting Pixel Perfect Chart?

On one template the point show up on the chart, on another one they don't. Serie is always visible in the legend, but not on the chart.

There are no axis range limits set up.

Series values come from a qlik sense table.

It is hard to understand your question. You may want to provide us wit some screenshots, descriptions what is expected and what i a current result.

Hi Lech, let me show an example.

I have table - single row, one dimention, 4 master measures.

In Nprinting i have a chart with single series - Point type

First two measures (red) are used as series X and Y values - and the chart in NPrinting looks ok.

Measures are just simple Avg.

Second set of measuers (blue) is used in the second chart - and this chart does not show any values. Its empty. Those measures show values calculated in variables.

So I am wondering, if there is any limitation of how master measure (or just measure) should be defined for NPrinting chart to work.

Hi @annapochyla

First thing to check is if that data makes its way to NPrinting. You may just create a new excel based template, throw that data in to excel template as single table and see if data comes through.

If it does not maybe you are affected by this: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-NPrinting/Gauge-from-Qlik-sense-into-Nprinting/m-p/1872113 which requires those setting changes:

Create a copy of the file "C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Engine\Settings.ini" of your Qlik Sense server in a safe place
On Qlik Sense server, as a Windows Administrator, open in a text editor "C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Engine\Settings.ini"
Below "Settings 7" add a new line with EnableRefMasterMeasure=1
Save the file
Restart Qlik Sense Engine Service
If there are Qlik Engines on other nodes you must change the settings file on those nodes also

If data comes to excel template then we can focus on your pixel perfect issue which then would be likely driven by completely different issue (likely data type of the series)

First - please check the abovementioned points.

Yes, table shows correctly in Excel template.

I also tested level in pixel perfect report, and they work as expected, that is all values show up, and can be formatted for example as %.

Also summary gets calculated and formatted as number without any issues.

But there is one more change that seems to have fixed the issue.

I added "=" sign at the beginning of measure definition, so now it looks like =$(vVariable)

I am still not sure how your setup looks like so I cannot be sure what caused the problem. It seem you are having a variable which holds measure definition, but if that was kept as a measure which in Qlik Sense could be:

master item (measure)
or just a naked expression in object

Looking at your screenshot it seems your table does not have dimension, so I am not sure how this supposed to work (I guess that is your requirement).

Now you are mentioning adding = sign. Indeed variables do not expand in NPrinitng and need to be expanded by adding = sign in front of variable definition expression. That would be case if you would like to pass value (calculated in Qlik Sense) to NPrinting. In your case I thought you were using Qlik sense object to source data (like straight table or chart) which would not require = sign. Again - it is hard to say, because we dont know what the variable definition is, whether you are using it as a measure or maybe dimension (by mistake)?

Your issue is quite unusual so I think there is something odd in the way you have this setup.
