&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm trying to set up a new connection for a report,&amp;nbsp; I tried to create a server connection (QVP) but the verification failed with the "QlikView Server is unreachable" error.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;However,&amp;nbsp; from the same machine where the NPrinting server is installed, I can open the same QlikView document in-server using the QlikView desktop app.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have created a new user for NPrinting and changed the services to run under it but I still get the same old error&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The new user is&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;a domain user&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;part of the local administrators group&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;part of the QlikView Administrators on the QlikView server and the local QlikView Administrators group on the NPrinting server&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;has been assigned a CAL (leased by "Open In Server" from the QlikView desktop app&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;Do you have antivirus/antimalware software which may affect Nprinting?&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;What do you see in event logs when you try to generate metadata&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Do you meet all firewall rules as per documentation?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
