Hi all.

I’m trying to create a combo chart in PowerPoint with different-colored columns and markers:

It works fine with hardcoded numbers, but when I link it to values from a Qlik table, the chart becomes blank, and I lose the option to select each column separately to assign different colors. As a result, all the columns display in a single color:

as a data source I use a table with one dimension and two measures as columns

Is there a way to assign colors to columns?

can you make the chart in your dashboard, then import to your template as an image?

Hi @Ooo ,

In NPritning template once you create your chart and bring your column tags <> to the table you can manually put in row of values so bars can be visible for you to choose colours. Once you done chosing colours and formatting your chart you can then remove those manually entered numbers from your table.

Have you tried that? and.... why not? It is so simple 🙂

It is not working, could you please check if I'm doing it right?

1. I added rows with values

2. Assigned colors to the columns

3. Deleted the manual rows, generated the file, but the chart still looks the same with one-colored columns:

Hi @Ooo

and apologies, when answering your question for some reason I thought you were doing this in excel so I was 100% sure it will work.

Since you are doing this in Power Point you may have a problem achieving it.

Apologies again for wasting your time providing usless previous answer! I will see if I come up with a workaround for this one.
