Pivot table in Nprinting HTML report

Hi,

We want to insert a pivot table from QV to HTML report.

When we add the relevant QV pivot table to the HTML report it expands everything and the table is sent as a regular table (not pivot).

Is there a way to overcome this? Please advise!

so we don't have the possibility to attach Excel report.

Another possibility we considered (as a no so good workaround) is installing Libreoffice and trying to use it since we cannot install Office on our QV server, but is seems like Nprinting can work solely with MSOffice. Help on this approach will also be appreciated, although we rather use HTML for a better looking report.

Pivot tables are not supported by NPrinting template editors. There is a way to do this in HTML using MS Office and the process is outlined below:

1. Clone and convert the QV pivot table to a straight table. This can be a hidden object if you don't want it to be visible in the QVW.

2. Create a pivot table in MS Excel using the newly created QV straight table. That process is outlined here: http://community.vizubi.com/knowledgebase/articles/261211-how-to-create-a-pivot-table-from-excel-table-colum

3. When creating the report task, choose to render the Excel report in HTML format (see Choose Report Output Type in this document: http://community.vizubi.com/knowledgebase/articles/260323-how-to-create-tasks)
