QlikView variable in NPrinting problem

Hi,

I'm trying to use QlikView variable in message body and subject in NPrinting. I've created variable in QV App e.g. vTest = 2+2

QV gives me 4 as a result, but when i try to use this variable in NPrinting message (body or subject) i get '2+2' instead of 4.

Does Anyone got the same problem? How can I solve this.

Hi,

In my testing vTest=2+2 remains as 2+2 in QlikView. Using =$(vTest) results in 4. Therefore you can create another variable say vTest1 with value =$(vTest) and use that variable in the NPrinting email message subject or body.

Thanks for your idea, I was having the same problem in Nprinting but using a a variable from Qlik Sense app in email message body.

Your solution work perfect to me.
