[NPrinting] Error: Invalid characters in path

Hello everybody!

We are using NPrinting to schedule an automatic reporting but something is working wrong. All was ok until we add one Condition to the reporting that compares the date of the last reload of the QlikView App with the system data, checking that the difference is under 24h.

In the Log file appears an error message that says:

“Service 26/05/201520:31:22 Error Error: Invalid characters in path"

This happens randomly only for some of the 8 reports that should be generated, and we have tried to copy the paths from one which works and it remains working wrong.

Has anyone dealed with this problem before?

What version of NPrinting are you running? The invalid characters in path bug was fixed in version 16.0 SR2.

Make sure there are any characters like % in the name.
