Why is my Straight Table output in Excel using NPrinting completely different to the sort in QlikView?

Hi,

I have a Straight Table designed in QlikView that is then loaded onto an Excel spreadsheet using NPrinting.

In QlikView I have my table sorted and laidout exactly how I want.

However as soon as NPrinting produces the table it is in the wrong order to what is in QlikView.

I have ensured my Sort tab in the table object in QlikView is sorted according to how I want.

I even unticked Allow Interactive to see if that has any effect. No effect.

Basic things like making sure it is the right object, the metadata is reloaded are all done.

How can I fix this issue?

Hi Michael,

Open the QVW file using QlikView Desktop, RMB on the straight table and select Send to Excel. Do you get the correct sort order? You should get the same sort order in your NPrinting report.

Did you solve this issue? I have a colleague with the same issue where NP report sort differs from Qv Desktop send-to-excel.
