NPrinting Logs not generating

Hello Experts,

I have NPrining Designer and Server installed on my server.

When I start the NPrining services log is recording.

but when I try to export table to PPT or Template to download from server. requests are showing under queue for a while. always showing processing.. but never exported any report. same time never write any log for that.

What Am I missing here. Please help me to comeout from this issue. thank you for your help!

I am sorry but I do not udnerstand what you mean when you say 'export table to PPT or Template to download from server' - it sounds like you are trying to generate a report using the on deman functionality since you are referring to queue?

if that is true, my belief is you are not seeing anything in the server log because your request is not making it to the server

Hi, Prasanna.

Is the NPrinting task actually completing ? Or does it get stuck ? When you run the task have a look at the QLikView application sitting in the background to see what it is trying to do.

If the task completes, look at the log generated (to find log location look in NPrinting Server) to get more information.

Thank you for your reply. what my requirement is I have a static template which is lying in server where my QV and NP installed. I want to download that template from accesspoint with the help of NP. How do I achive that?

since I am not exporting any chart/object/image to PPT, NP throwing an error saying.

syntax error : unexpected token E + Nprinting

Please help me to achive ths scenario

What are you doing to cause the error to be thrown?

The only wany to call NPrinting from AccessPoint, would be to call it from within a QlikView application, which requires the on demand functionality - this is licensed seperately and requres the use of the NPrinting extension objects.

I have one QV application with only Nprinting Report button and Report Queue.

I want to download a template from Server with the help of these NPrinting bttons.

I created the following steps

1. Created connection

2. Assigned Test.pptx to that connection (D:\NPrinting\Templates\test.nsq)

3. created con_test.nsq file at (D:\NPrinting\NSQs\Con_test.nsq)

4. Hostname: IP Address

5. Port: 9001

after I publish the document , at Access point I was getting the following error while I press Report button.

syntax error : unexpected token E + Nprinting'
