NPrinting Empty Levels

Hello Everyone,

I am Facing a problem with NPrinting (16 SR3), I am composing an Excel Report with a simple table (eg Customer | Amount ) cycled per Agents level.

Easy so far, my problem is that NPrinting loop and print in Excel ALL the Field Agents (not only the Agents in the source Qlikview Table), even if they are without any customer.

Agent 1

Customer1 | 5 €

Customer2 | 2 €

Customer3 | 6 €

Agent 2

Customer4 | 3 €

Customer5 | 4 €

Agent 3

Agent 4

Customer6 | 3 €

Customer7 | 4 €

Thus I would like to remove all the empty Levels (Agent 3). Any Suggestions?

NPrinting cannot exclude a chart if the values are empty for a specific dimension value.

Unfortunately, this is not in the pipeline for introduction in the a future release at this time but you may feel free to add your comments and vote for the idea.

if cycle is used condition can be used with option: chart X has values, in this case report for specyfic level will not be created.

I'm looking also this option for non cycle reports

Hi Mirco,

You need to create and apply a Field filter with Value something like =Amount > 0. Where you add the filter will make a difference in this case. I suggest using Levels (Agent field) and moving the filter to the Report level.

I have attached a sample project that demonstrates this. Extract to folder C:\Temp\Community\021 or change the paths in the NSQ as required.
