Hello,

Is it possible to create a Pipe delimited file ('|') in NPrinting?

I know csv is possible but I need to create a pipe delimited file as below.

Name|Address|City

Mike|MainStreet|NY

and other image and document formats only...no pipe.

Although there is no pipe by default, I found a way you can possibly use pipe as an 'other' option.

1. Use 'csv' output as and 'advanced' output type

2. Select 'other as a separating character

3. Type the pipe | character in the customer separater field.

Give that a try...hopefully that will work for you.

I was also thinking I can build the field in QlikView and then create an excel csv file with a single column.

All good options!
