No , create one variable but create multiple buttons or text objects so based on the click of button/text add the action to set the same variable so that it will be always on variable at the backend , based on the use selection the variable will get set

Hi Daniel,

I have installed Nprint June 2019 version along with QS june as well tested your approach unfortunately It is not

working. I require vStartdate & vEnddate as a filter for on demand extension. After selecting range should pass to Nprint report as per range given by user report should be published in newsstand.

Please help required on priority. since client is required on top priority.

Hi @vikasmahajan ,

The idea of On-demand is for users to make selections and generate reports that respect those selections. Reports are then directly available for download from the Qlik Sense hub or the Accesspoint (if using QlikView) - not in the NewsStand. You should not be using any other filters (advanced or otherwise) as user selections are your filters here. Perhaps you need to clarify your requirement in more detail and someone here can advise you of your options.

HTH - Daniel.

Hi

Thanks for your response

Just to let you know we are using qlik sense june 2019 and N printing june 2019

My requirement is that on demand feature will be used in application by power users at the same time i need provision to schedule the same report on newsstand so that it is available to larger audience which will be read only users. These users are branch level users who spread across multiple locations within the country. These users will just check the data quality and send it to centrsl bank regulatory authority. Hence i want same filtered dstavto be available on newsstand also.

Regards

Vikas

Hi Vikas,

You will need to handle those two requirements separately. "On-demand", by definition, is for a user to make selections and download a predefined report appropriately filtered. You cannot use On-demand to publish to NewsStand.

HTH - Daniel.
