Behavior when character code conversion inability

Hello support team.

[Info]
Source DB : Db2 for z/OS
Target DB : Snowflake

[Question]
Source DB has T-DES encryption columns and User-specific cryptographic algorithm columns.
Above, when character code conversion of those columns is inability, how does Qlik Replicate behavior?

1.Skip replication of record that character code conversion is inablity.
2.Continue to replicate regardless of conversion inablity. (And output error or warning, substitute applicable data to specific character like "□")
3.Stop replication task.

I suspect encrypted columns should be identified and treated as the binary blobs they are and will be passed on uninterpretted, unmodified to the target (Snowflake)

In addition to @Heinvandenheuvel reply, We first need to understand where the encryption is set (On DB?) and also the data type of the columns involved.
