Hi Team,

Our source Oracle database has started storing and managing logs with ASM.

Earlier, we had redo logs stored on different mount points which we accessed by creating directories and pointing these manually created directories to these log location with read permission.

However, post ASM, the CDC doesn't work. We have followed the Qlik official document and granted required permissions and provided connection string for ASM in Qlik Replicate source connector advanced settings.

We have referred the below documents:

Prerequisites | Qlik Replicate Help

Required permissions | Qlik Replicate Help

In log it says it's reading the log with sequence number ##. However, we do not see any changes flowing through though there are inserts and updates on the selected table.

Post ASM we do not have any manually created directories pointing to these locations where logs are stored in ASM. Do we still have to provide this configuration on source db's end?

Kindly let me know if I am missing anything. Appreciate your assistance.

Thanks

Hello @dineshkumarl ,

Thanks for reaching out to Qlik Community!

It's hard to tell without sufficient information. I'd like to suggest you open a support ticket with below information:

1- Set SOURCE_CAPTURE to Verbose, re-create the issue

2- Please decrypt the newly generated task log files

3. Open a support ticket and upload the above task log files and also the Diagnostics Packages.

4. A brief information of the ASM environment

Our support team will be more than happy to assist you.

Regards,

John.
