Qlik replicate interpreting updates as delete + insert

I use qlik replicate with Azure managed SQL server (MS-CDC) as source and Oracle as target endpoints. I have configured my task (CDC) as a batch optimized task. I am noticing that on bulk updates, Qlik replicate is doing the delete and insert of the record for every update. Is this the way qlik replicate functions on bulk updates?

Also, what are all the scenarios in which Qlik replicate shows this kind of behaviour?

Welcome to Qlik Community forum and thanks for reaching out here!

IN general the source operation INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE will be captured and applied as same operations INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE. However in some scenarios the operation maybe changed to another one, eg if the soft delete is enabled, or UPSERT mode is used.
