Hello, I'm trying to set up a task to simply dump a table into a file but a UNC path is not accepted in the "Target Folder" field. Pressing the test connection button gives:

SYS-E-HTTPFAIL, Invalid target folder..

A normal path like C:\temp works. Does Qlik replicate not accept UNC paths as a target folder?

Thanks

Hello @Gary_W ,

You are right. Qlik replicate does not accept UNC paths as a target folder. The recommended approach is writing to local driver folder first then move/copy the files to UNC path or remote shared folders.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

John.

Hello,

We have seen cases where in you can use a UNC path but you need to have the proper security settings on the fold that you are going to write into. This is outside the bounds of what Replicate does, this is standard Windows security.

Thanks
