Hi Support,

Recent versions of Qlik Replicate list Microsoft ODBC Driver 18.3 as a prerequisite for using SQL Server as a source. The exact wording in the user guide is "Install Microsoft ODBC Driver 18.3 for Windows on the Qlik Replicate Server machine."

Does this mean that installing newer versions of the ODBC driver i.e. version 18.4 and upwards, would be inadvisable? Are there any known issues with using Microsoft ODBC driver 18.4/18.5 when using Microsoft SQL Server as a Source?

Thanks,

Nak

Hello Nak, @NakulanR

Thanks for opening the article!

We have not encountered any errors with higher versions such as 18.4, 18.5. However, since ODBC version 18.3 is the one that has passed our regression QA certification, we strongly recommend using version 18.3 in production environments.

Hope this helps.

John.
