Request for Qlik Version 2023.5 Including Patch RECOB-8698

I'm reaching out to kindly ask if it's possible to get access to Qlik version 2023.5 that includes the patch RECOB-8698. Due to some operating system limitations in our environment, we're currently unable to upgrade to a newer version, so this specific release would be really helpful for us.

If you could share a download link or let me know how we can obtain it, that would be greatly appreciated.

I apologize but the fix for RECOB-8698 is not available in version 2023.5. The earliest version we have this patched in is 2024.5.0.563 (SP3).

I do not have specific reasons for this but in general, these decisions have to do with when the issue surfaces, and what versions are currently available at the time. The older a version is when a patch is needed, the more work it is to back port it into an older version - we can't include all the Oracle and other related fixes back to the earlier version and doing work twice increases risk and the integrity of the code base.

If this is not satisfactory, I encourage you to reach out to your Account Manager who may be able to provide more specific reasons as to why we are not able to provide that fix in 2023.5. They may also be able to connect you with resources at Qlik that might be able to help with the limitations you have in your environment that prevent you from upgrading (most likely Professional Services, fee based).

Thank you for your prompt response. Just to confirm, is my understanding correct that, as indicated in the link below, RECOB-8698 is included in the November 2023 version but not in the May 2023 version?

This is correct - Qlik Replicate provided fix in patches:

2023.11.0.860 SP05
2024.5.0.563 SP03
2024.11 GA
2025.5 GA

From your previous comments, Replicate 2023.11.0.860 SP05 is highly recommended.
