Reloading a logstream task

In Replicate, can I reload the logstream task without having to reload tasks that use the logstream as a source?

In other words, I would like to stop the child tasks that source their data from the logstream. Then, stop the logstream and perform a full load. Then can I restart the child tasks from where they left off? Or will reloading the logstream mess up the child tasks? I do not want to perform a full load of the child tasks.

Please check the log stream architecture on how it works.

No, you cannot reload the LogStream parent and expect the child tasks to resume from where they left off.

When it is Full load, child tasks directly connects to the source database instead of reading from logstream files. Hope this is clear.
