topic Oracle compatability in Qlik Replicate

Can Qlik Replicate connect to a read-only physical standby and still capture changes from the redo logs for replication purposes? Is there are any prerequisites or limitations (e.g., Active Data Guard, supplemental logging, etc.)?

Hello @bantuh2 ,

Qlik Replicate supports both Snapshot Standby and Physical Standby. More detailed information can be found [here].

As for prerequisites, they are very similar to those required when the primary node is used as the source endpoint. However, configuration changes — such as enabling supplemental logging — must first be applied on the primary node. Once those settings are synchronized to the standby node, the standby node can then be used as the source endpoint.

Hope this helps.

John.
