Hi John,

Thanks for the clarification. I’ll check whether the views
SYSTABLES
and
SYSCOLUMNS
exist by connecting via ODBC 64-bit DSN using the same account as in the endpoint settings.

Also, the reason I attempted ODBC was because the AS/400 version might be below the supported range for Qlik Replicate, but I’ll confirm that and reach out to PS if needed.

Appreciate your guidance!

Hello @suvbin ,

As a general rule, the ODBC source endpoint should not be used to access any sources already listed in the Support Matrix. Could you clarify why you’re attempting to use ODBC instead of the dedicated DB2 for i (AS/400) endpoint?

If the AS/400 version is below the supported range for Qlik Replicate, please note that this would require PS (Professional Services) engagement.

Regarding your specific question: can you check whether the views SYSTABLES and SYSCOLUMNS exist by connecting to AS/400 via ODBC 64-bit DSN with the same account that is configured in the endpoint settings? This will help us confirm whether the issue is related to permissions or something else.

Hope this helps.

John.

Since SYSTABLES and SYSCOLUMNS are system views, you can access them through the QSYS2 schema. For example:
