Hi,

Our security mandated us to upgrade the PostgreSQL database which installed part of the Qlik Enterprise Monitor software running in Windows Server. The PostgreSQL is version 10 by default installation. We need to upgrade to at least version 13,14,15 or even latest 17 if possible.

THe QDM version is

May 2024 (2024.5.0.152)

Could you please share what is the version supported Matrix?

What's the best least efford way to get this compliance? Should we upgrade the QDM? But I believe that doesn't take care of PostgreSQL upgrade? Otherwise please advise what is the steps we could do to upgrade the PostgreSQL

Hello Desmond, @desmondchew

Thanks for posting here!

The PostgreSQL upgrade is standalone and transparent to QEM. I recommend upgrading to version 14 or 15—please refer to the official PostgreSQL documentation or consult the Qlik PS team for detailed guidance. However, we strongly advise performing a thorough acceptance test before applying this change to any production systems.

Hope this helps.

John.
