Rest API to configure Enterprise Manager?

Hi,

To automate Qlik Replicate and Qlik Enterprise Manager using Ansible playbooks, we rely on the REST API provided by Enterprise Manager. However, we are encountering challenges with certain operations, like:

Automating license configuration for Enterprise Manager (this works for Qlik Replicate, but we have not found a solution for Enterprise Manager)
Automating user and permission management in the "Enterprise Manager User Permission" section
Automating the global logging policy

In general, is there a dedicated REST API for configuring Enterprise Manager settings?

Thanks for sharing these interesting challenges! 🙂 You’re absolutely right — the provided APIs, such as license registration and user permission management etc, are designed for automating Qlik Replicate administration rather than QEM itself.

If this is a feature you’d like to see added, please submit a request [here]. It will go directly to our Product Management team, and other users will be able to vote on it to help raise its priority for future releases.
