&lt;P&gt;It &lt;STRONG&gt;derives&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Replicate/NOT-NULL-constraint-violated-during-initial-load/td-p/2510817" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt; nullability from the source&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/A&gt;, and &lt;STRONG&gt;DDL changes like NOT NULL → NULL are not propagated&lt;/STRONG&gt; automatically.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As a workaround for this, &lt;STRONG&gt;pre-create target tables&lt;/STRONG&gt; with nullable columns or ALTER after load.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
