DBCC Page Error

We received the following error for a table that does not have a primary key and would like to understand what conditions cause Qlik to execute the DBCC PAGE command. The replication user does not have the necessary permissions to run this command.

Hi team,

Qlik Replicate executes DBCC Page when its SQL Server source-capture process needs to inspect the physical contents of a database page in order to resolve information from a transaction-log record.

In your case, the sequence is:

Replicate reads a change from the SQL Server transaction log.
The log record does not contain enough logical information for Replicate to directly resolve the affected column/row.
Replicate therefore uses the physical page information from the log record.
It issues:DBCC PAGE(litrockfms, 1, 3336884, 1) WITH TABLERESULTS;
Replicate uses the result to determine the column/row information it needs.
Your replication account cannot execute DBCC PAGE, so SQL Server returns error 2571, and the capture process stops.

Can you confirm the source endpoint type and if ADEEFP2_Repl_User has been granted Sysadmin?

We are using Microsoft SQL Server endpoint, and the user doesn't have Sysadmin

Hi, I would double check the process for setting up a non-sysadmin user has been followed: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/replicate/May2026/Content/Global_Common/Content/SharedReplicateHDD/SQLServer-Source/SQLServerDBSource_Security.htm
