MySQL endpoint: Cannot connect to ODBC provider

We have recently upgraded our target MySQL RDS DB endpoint from version 8.0.21 to 8.0.28. Thereafter some of the Qlik Attunity tasks have been failing with error code below. We are using ODBC version 5.3. I have set in internal parameter.

driver= MySQL ODBC 5.3 Unicode Driver

Global replication task encountered the following error:

Cannot connect to ODBC provider

RetCode: SQL_ERROR SqlState: HY000 NativeError: 2026 Message: [MySQL][ODBC 5.3(w) Driver]SSL connection error: unknown error number.

Please see attached for the error while establishing a test to the MySQL end point.

Our Qlik attunity version is 7.0.0.555_X64 server is on Windows server 2019

Hi @desmondchew ,

If you are using an SSL certificate you have to provide the SSL information also.

Please create a case and attach the task diagnostic package.

Hi Swathi,

I believe we are not on using SSL certification. It was working fine before upgrading to 8.0.28.

ok, I shall open a ticket. The log files contains a lot of our sensitive information like hostname.
