Replicate Server proximity

We would like to install replicate for our CDC from two difference source clouds and target end point in different cloud. In this scenario, we are Qlik recommendation on replication server.

1) Should have two different replicate server in two difference source clouds close to source system ?

2) Or, should we have on replication server in target cloud near target end point.

Any other server landscape recommendation for best performance.

In general, The communication between source side and Replicate are much more than Replicate and target side, if the network bandwidth among the nodes are same then put Replicate closer to source side is recommended.
