Task stuck in "Starting" status

Greetings!

The endpoint connections are successful.

But the tasks are not executing. The tasks stuck at "Starting" status.

Any ideas please?

Did you restart the Replicate server?

If yes, then please check the repsrv log and let us know if you find any useful information.

I haven't restarted the Replicate Server and moreover, the other tasks are working fine.

Hi @satyender ,

In repsrv log it is showing as already in a running state. Go to Task Manager and end the repctl process for these 2 tasks then start your Replicate tasks.

Hi @satyender ,

When you do go to task manager under the details tab, add the column "Command Line" if it is not already visible so you know which repctl process is you task.

I am still trying to find the" Command Line" in the "Details" tab. 😞

It is not showing up in my task manager.

Hello,

Thanks for the fix solution. But do you know how to fix the rootcause ? Because on my project we schedule the reload of some tasks every night/day and every time, we fall in this issue.

When I kill the process through the task manager, and try to reload the flow several time, it works again well, but when it's scheduled, the task stay in starting state each time.. 😞

It impact Postgres --> Oracle flows and also IMS --> Oracle flows. But not necessary all flows : it's always the same flows which are impacted

Hello Benjamin, @Airbus_DPCS

Various factors could cause this behavior. I suggest enabling SOURCE_UNLOAD and SOURCE_CAPTURE, then restarting the task. After that, review the task log to identify at which phase or step the task is getting stuck, or takes longer time.

We switched all logs to VERBOSE and got some additional information. It appears to be an I/O issue: the two rows below were repeated for about 14 hours :
