Hi @snishtala

I agree with @OritA, a single source endpoint cannot reference multiple source databases, unless they are clustered as in Oracle RAC or SQL Server Always On configurations that share a common connection string (and only one database can be pulled from at a time).

FYI, ODBC endpoints are not recommended for endpoints that have a specific endpoint type already defined (there might be use cases for this that I am not aware of however). Also, ODBC endpoints must be implemented with the assistance of our Professional Services team.

Thanks,

Hello all,

Is it possible to specify multiple databases in connection string if I am trying to connect to MySQL using ODBC as source.

I am currently using below string to connect to a specific DB.

Driver={MySQL ODBC 8.0 ANSI Driver};Server=hostname;Database= dbdata;Option=3;

If I am removing the database parameters, I am not able to view the tables. Is there a way to connect to 5 DB's we have in source side or do we need to create 5 different connections to source?

Hi,

I am not sure what are you trying to achive. In general, Replicate endpoint always works against one db. If you need to Replicate information from several resources you should define separate endpoints and set separate tasks. If it does not answer your question please elaborate on the scenario that you are trying to implement.

Thanks & regards,
