We are trying to connect to Yarn Queue using the CDP-Hive connection we already have. These are Cloudera Data connections. When we try to add additional parameters we are unable to chose that selection.

Is there a workaround for this or do we need to setup a new "End Point Connection" and input the additional parameters and values in the new connection?

Yes, you can use the internal parameter to add the Yarn Queue. The internal parameter name is:

hiveJobAdditionalProperties

adding the below string as its value: mapred.job.queue.name=llap

The default queue name is "llap", you may custom it as you need.
