Cannot connect to DB2 i Server
RetCode: SQL_ERROR SqlState: HYT00 NativeError: 30189 Message: [IBM][System i Access ODBC Driver]Connection login timed out.

We have installed ODBC drivers on one of our new servers and followed the Qlik documentation, everything seems good but we are getting above error.

We upgraded the new server from 2021.11 to 2022.11 directly will that impact anything?

On one of our other servers we have 2022.11 and same ODBC and there everything works fine.

Hi @kamal0475

I don't expect any issue related to the upgrade, going from 2021.11 to 2022.11 is a supported upgrade path.

Does the DB2i client have a tool to connect to the source outside of Qlik Replicate?

Or, could you test with an ODBC DSN connection in ODBC Data Sources?

This will help narrow down if the issue is directly related to Qlik software or not.
