They might be obvious to some but repetition doesn't hurt...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Use the Task Manager as a tool while you develop and test your applications, even on a 2-core laptop.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Go to the Performance tab and make sure that you see on graph per core of your machine. You can change this setting in View-&amp;gt;CPU History-&amp;gt;One Graph Per CPU.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Keep an eye on the graphs while you click in your application. If you see one core at 100% and the others almost inactive then you have one or more single-threaded calculations in your application.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;More tips about single-threaded calculations and trouble shooting will be posted.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cheers from the Scalability Team.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
