Hi Lalit,

There are many open ended questions here.

I suggest that you read a couple of the documents in our Resources Library (Tech notes in particular).

http://www.qlik.com/us/explore/resources

Tech notes are here: http://www.qlik.com/us/explore/resources/technical-briefs?language=english

Two comments though:

1. 3 TB is a lot of data, but that does necessarily translate to 3 TB in memory QlikView data as QlikView uses highly efficient algorithms to compress data (storing distinct values only).

2. Every application in QlikView should cater a specific need. In very few cases is the full data needed.

Regards,

Hampus von Post

Dear All,

I was just exploring about the capability of qlikview handling the data. I have came across the requirement in which we need to integrate the qlikview with a system which has the capability of 25tps(transactions per second). Data for 13 months is to be kept as per the analysis from the DB the data for the 13 months would be are ound .3 TB in the smallest transaction table and there are more than 20 tables bigger than this table. I have never worked on such a huge data. Does anybody have worked on such a huge data. Also please share any document regarding the qlikview sizing i.e How much hardware would be require to handle such a big data?

Thanks in Advance.

Lalit
