topic Zero's instead of Null in visuals for absent data in App Development

I have got a pivot table in Qlik Sense that sums Amount by Counter Party for a number of Periods. For some periods there are no purchases from a vendor, hence the nulls in the chart below. They users are wanting to see 0 (zero) instead of null.

The only solution I can think of is to (dynamically) create a zero / 0 value entry for each possible vendor for each period. Anyone got a better idea / solution? Anyone know if this idea would work?

In the pivot table that is in the visualizations bundle you can set null values to anything you want. Would that pivot table work for you?

@AmeliaAndersson it is a standard Qlik Sense pivot table. I can see no option to change null values. From the other threads on the community it does not look like this is possible unless perhaps I download a different type of pivot table:

Yes in the pivot table thats under chart it is not possible but if you use the one in the visualizations bundle then it is possible. So I was wondering if changing to using that one would work for you.

Thank you! I was not aware of that visualization, nor have I used any of those in the bundle before. Very helpful!
