Hi Team,

I am trying to read same QVD simultaneously from multiple applications and few applications reload is failing with "Error: File read error" error message. Does not Qlik engine support simultaneous file read operations?

QVD is stored in the NAS storage.

Any idea how to fix this issue?

Hi,

I've this case sometime, for some reason the QVD is locked by a first reading process.

Thank @mpc for the response and link. Unfortunately, it does not help. Ideally, Qlik allows to read same QVD simultaneously right? And still we are having this issue.

Any, other setting which can be applied to ensure parallel read of the same file?

We do have a setting to open a file in write mode - https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/Reload-from-QVDs-fails-with-Failed-to-open-file-in-write-mode/ta-p/1746825 but, here in my case it does not help.
