Hi @boglarkal ,

For the bar chart in Qlik Sense, you can add maximum two dimensions. See the Qlik help below : https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense/May2024/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/Visualizations/Bar-Chart/bar-chart.htm

According to your Tableau screenshot, you're using three dimensions (two for axis-y and one for the color). One possible workaround is to use the Trellis container to get something which can approach what you get on Tableau (see the attached file).

Regards.

Hi everyone, I'd like to build a bar chart that has two dimensions on its Y-Axis. I saw on the forum that a workaround could be concatenating the two fields, but that post was two years old and I was hoping that there might be a new, native / built-in solution for it.

As I'll have to create quite a few charts like this, creating concatenated fields would take a lot of effort.

Hello, a normal bar chart can display two dimensions. So it is not quite clear where the problem is, or is it the 2 dimension as a legend? In general it is also possible to concatenate the dimensions in the chart as dynamic dimenison. However, this should only be done if absolutely necessary.

Thank you for your reply. My problem is that I want the two dimensions on the axis as labels, like a hierarchy, not in the bars. E.g. use Region, Sub-Region on the axis to properly order my data and then color the bars based on a different dimension (in my example product category).
