The expression has been directly copied over from the input Excel file, so there are no spelling errors, additional spaces etc.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Desired expression is:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 8pt;"&gt;Count(&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #800000; font-size: 8pt;"&gt;[GAS SERVICING ONLY Q11.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you mean you are building an expression in a front end object? If so, I would recommend renaming long field names to something more manageable and preferably containing no spaces. Excel column headers can have hidden characters if it comes from cells that have been merged.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
