How to Apply Consistent Colors Across Charts in Qlik Sense

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a Qlik Sense dashboard where I have multiple charts using the same dimension values, but I’d like them to have a consistent color scheme. For example, I have a pie chart and a bar chart displaying the same dimension (A, B, C, and D), and I want A to always have the same color in both charts, B to have another consistent color, and so on.

Is there a way to set this up in Qlik Sense, either through the color settings, expressions, or a master dimension?

You can use master dimension

Go to Master Items → Dimensions.

Add your dimension (e.g., Category).

In the "Appearance" section, set custom colors for each value.

Use this master dimension in all your charts.
