topic Bookmarks on Straight Tables Losing Saved Layouts in App Development

Hello,

Some of our apps utilize straight tables from the visualization library. We create these to allow our users to save smaller custom views by using the chart exploration feature, and allowing users to save their layouts and filters by utilizing bookmarks. We are finding that while filters are always respected when selecting bookmarks, for this visualization, some users' bookmarks are not restoring the layout, and thus they are losing their saved views. We thought it may have been related to Fields moving between the Main Columns section and the Alternative Columns section, but have not been able to reliably reproduce the issue. Any help in determining why these layouts are lost in the process would be greatly appreciated.

We are aware of the known issue where Fields in the Chart Exploration list go missing if Bookmarks are saved before/after fields are maintained - the issue we're hitting is different.

Could it possibly be that the users that can't get it to work are forgetting to check the box reuired to save layout within the bookmark?

If you press the little info (i) icon for a bookmark in the bookmarks overview you'll get details about the bookmark. One of those details is whether the boomark has this box ticked or not,

Thanks for the reply - we've double checked the bookmarks from all of the users who are reporting the issue and they all have that box checked to Save Layout.
