Download a stored data file?

Hello there!

I have a problem. I upload an update of a data file for my app, let's call it DATA.XLSX.

Somehow (likely a stup¡d mistake of mine), the original data file got erased and I don't have a backup, which also was deleted. Now, I know that DATA.XLSX in its latest and greatest version is in the Qlik Cloud, in one of our company's Spaces. I see it there smiling and doing grimaces at me. But I cannot find a way to download it from there. Is there a way?

I can try to reproduce a table that imitates the file and the two tables I need from it, then "download data" from a visualization... however, this will lose the formatting and formulae that the Excel file already has.

Any hints will be appreciated. Thank you!

Once an xlsx file it uploaded to Qlk Cloud, these are the underlying properties once uploaded. See image below:

There is no option to 'preserve original state of xlsx on upload'. The upload purely loads the data from the xlsx.

If you feel Qlik should have this type of option as a feature, you may post your idea here:

Understood.

From the Data Storage point of view, I understand that the "flat" data is better and that the XLSX files may be way bigger and therefore the cloud space may be filled with unnecessary megabytes.

So, no, even if I can't download that file I lost, I wouldn't spend storage space to have a seldom-used feature.
