I experienced a similar issue. The following solved it for me:

In the area layer, go to "Data" and under "Dimensions" select the field that you want to have as the label/name of your polygons.

Under "Location", go to "Location field" and click on the fx button, then check that your polygon field was correctly recognized. I had selected the field from the drop-down menu and the field was not correctly recognized for some reason.

You can't completely avoid that Qlik shows a label for the polygon in addition to the measures you added to the custom tooltip, but at least you can avoid that the label is the polygon coordinates.

In my app, I have some polygons on map from loaded kml files, and these polygons have a number of attributes. When setting up custom tooltips for the polygons, I can switch off default tooltips by checking 'Hide basic rows' option and add necessary measures to show as tooltips I need, but coordinates are still on. I can only get rid of them when I completely turn tooltips off. Is there any way to show only tooltips I want?

Hi @olkost

Tried playing around with this, I cant see any way doing this (Natively) Looking into the CSS but this affects the whole tooltip and not just the "auto" part.

Regards Jandre

Thank you for your answer! In my case, field is recognized correctly, but I can't get rid of those coordinates:
